"Are you sure this is a good idea?" Cassie asked, looking at Dom worriedly.
"I thought you wanted this," Dom sighed.
"I do," Cassie insisted. "It just seems like a bad idea."
"We can stop..."
"No," Cassie interrupted. "You're right, let's just do it."
Dom stepped forward and reached towards Cassie.
"Ow!" Cassie squealed.
"I hardly touched you yet," Dom complained.
"Sorry," Cassie whispered, blushing a little.
"That's ok." Dom kissed her briefly. "Ready?"
"Yeah." Cassie nodded.
He began again.
"Is it meant to hurt that much?" She flinched.
Dom stepped back again. "It's gonna hurt, Cass. I can't help that."
Cassie pouted.
"We can wait until tomorrow if you want," he offered.
"It'll still hurt tomorrow right?" Cassie sighed. "Let's just do it."
"Ok, relax," Dom ordered.
He watched her for a moment.
"Cass, if you lean forward like that then I won't be able to reach."
Cassie sat back in the chair, trying to relax.
"Will you be quick?" she asked hopefully.
"I'll do my best," Dom assured her.
"I'm sorry," she said, frowning. "I don't mean to be such a pain."
"That's ok." Dom smiled. "And once it's done it won't hurt again," he promised her.
"Right," Cassie replied with fresh resolve. "I'm ready."
"Cassie?" Janet pushed open Cassie's bedroom door. "What the hell are you doing?"
"Mom?" Cassie sat up in shock, looking horrified.
"Janet!" Dom stood up straight suddenly.
"Get that away from my daughter," Janet ordered.
"Oh god," Cassie sighed. "Mom, look..."
"I don't want to hear it." Janet shook her head.
"Come on Mom, it's no big deal," she insisted.
"It is so a big deal," Janet said, raising her voice. "Dominic, put that away now."
"He knows what he's doing, Mom," Cassie assured her. "He's done it before."
"Oh and that makes it all right does it?" Janet threw her hands in the air.
"His uncle has a shop..."
"I don't care, Cassie," Janet snapped. "Ok, look," She relented.
Cassie looked up at her hopefully.
"If you're serious about this then we can go to a professional, to some place that's sterile."
Cassie sighed in defeat.
"But," Janet continued. "There is no way in hell that I am letting Dominic pierce your navel!"
The End
